Doubletree Lake Estates is a true gated community with on-site 24 hour security. All entrances are monitored by camera systems with information backup. Homeowners can purchase a car-mounted transponder for automated gate access. Guests can also utilize a self-help keyboard located on the side of the guard house to directly ring the homes of residents who in turn can buzz their guest access. A second, private resident entrance exists at the Northwest corner of the Doubletree Shopping Center. A future entrance will exist into the East side of the Doubletree Lake Estates subdivision from County Line road. The security guards have a schedule that allows both guard house and community roving coverage. Doubletree Lake Estates subdivision surrounds a central, 60-acre, spring fed, fresh water lake designed for peaceful recreation such as pontoon boating, swimming and fishing (stocked game fish included!). Water skiing and tubing are also allowed during limited hours. Beautiful custom homes surround the 13,000 feet of shoreline.
